National Health Mission, Madhya Pradesh has released an advertisement under Order No. NHM/HR/2026-27/E-1019044/1779 dated 31 July 2026, inviting online applications for three contractual positions at the Health Emergency Operating Centre (HEOC) established under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM).

The posts pair an unusually senior public health role with two technical ICT positions. Senior Public Health Consultant

The essential qualification is an MBBS recognised by the NMC, combined with any one of the following:

• MBA in Disaster Management / Healthcare Administration / Hospital Administration / Hospital & Health Management from a recognised university, OR
• Master of Public Health (MPH) from a recognised university, OR
• Master in Hospital Administration, OR
• Post-graduate degree or diploma in Disaster Management / Medicine / Public Health Management from a recognised university, OR
• MD in Community Medicine / Community Health Administration / Hospital Administration / Preventive and Social Medicine / Internal Medicine / Anaesthesia / Emergency Medicine from a recognised university

Experience required: A minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing public health programmes with a focus on emergency or disaster management. Importantly, the notification states that the duration of post-graduation may be considered as part of this experience — a concession that materially widens the eligible pool, since a three-year MD can effectively count toward the ten-year requirement.

Hub Engineer

Essential qualification: B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science / Computer Application / Electronics & Communication / Information Technology, from a regular course at a recognised college or university.

Mandatory: Certifications related to networking.

Experience and skills:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience with security protocols and information systems
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting complete ICT networks and systems
• Strong understanding of telecommunication technologies

Note that the networking certification is described as mandatory, not desirable. Candidates without a current CCNA-class or equivalent credential should factor that in before applying, and the degree must be from a regular course — distance-mode qualifications are excluded by the wording.
