Note that the positions are specified precisely. This is not an open call for cricketers or footballers generally — RWFSA is recruiting for named playing positions to fill specific gaps in its teams. A batsman or a striker does not fit an All Rounder or Mid Fielder requirement, and applications outside the advertised position are unlikely to progress.
Eligibility Criteria
The notification directs candidates to the eligibility norms laid down in the latest Railway Board Circulars and RSPB (Railway Sports Promotion Board) Circulars, available at indianrailways.gov.in. Interested sportspersons who fulfil those norms may apply.
