Editorial Policy

People make decisions based on what we publish. They pay application fees, book train tickets to exam centres and turn down other work because of a date on one of our pages. That deserves a stated standard, so here is ours in full.

Where our information comes from

Every listing originates from one of the following, and nothing else:

• The recruiting organisation’s official notification, advertisement or corrigendum PDF
• The organisation’s official recruitment portal or website
• The Employment News / Rozgar Samachar edition published by the Government of India
• An official gazette notification

We do not republish from other job websites, aggregators, social media forwards or coaching-centre circulars. Where a claim is circulating but we cannot source it officially, we either leave it out or label it clearly as unconfirmed.

How a listing is put together

1. We read the official notification in full, not the summary another site wrote.
2. The vacancy count, post-wise breakdown, pay level, age limit and relaxations, qualification, application fee by category, selection stages and all key dates are transferred into our standard summary table.
3. Figures are checked back against the PDF a second time before publishing, because a transposed digit in a vacancy count or a fee is the most common and most damaging error in this field.
4. The notification PDF, the apply link and the official website are attached to the page.
5. The page is published with a visible publication date, and an author.

Expected versus official figures

Some things candidates search for do not officially exist yet — expected cut offs, anticipated vacancy counts, tentative exam dates. We do publish these, because they are genuinely useful for planning, but they are always labelled as estimates and never presented in the same style as an official figure. If a number is an estimate, the page says so on the line where the number appears.

Corrections and corrigenda

Government boards revise notifications frequently — extended deadlines, changed vacancy counts, amended eligibility, rescheduled exams. Our approach:

• We update the existing page rather than publishing a competing second page.
• The change is noted on the page, so a returning reader can see what moved.
• The modified date is shown alongside the publication date.
• If we got something wrong ourselves, we say so plainly rather than editing it away silently.

If you spot an error, please tell us. Corrections are handled ahead of new publishing.

Closed recruitments

When the last date passes we mark the page closed and remove the apply button, but we keep the page online. Syllabus, exam pattern, cut off and previous paper information stays useful for the next cycle, and deleting it would only send people back to less reliable sources. Closed pages carry a clear banner and a link to current vacancies from the same organisation.

Independence

The site is funded by advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we publish, no advance sight of our pages and no influence over which recruitments we cover or how we describe them. We do not accept payment to feature, promote or rank a coaching institute, a course, an employer or a recruitment. If we ever publish sponsored content it will be labelled as such on the page.

What we will not publish

• Leaked question papers, or any material claiming to be an unreleased paper
• Anything offering to arrange a job, guarantee selection or influence a result
• Reproduced copyrighted study material — we link the official document instead of hosting it
• Vacancy claims we cannot trace to an official source

Accountability

Pages carry an author. Mistakes are ours, not the reader’s, and the fastest way to get one fixed is to write to us through the contact page with the page link and what the official notification says.
