ITBP Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 282 Posts

The Directorate General, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Ministry of Home Affairs, has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens, male and female, for 282 Group ‘A’ medical posts under the Central Armed Police Forces Medical Officer Selection Board.

These are not ITBP-only posts. Selected candidates are appointed across the Central Armed Police Forces — BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles — with pay and allowances as admissible in the concerned Force. ITBP acts as the conducting agency for the combined selection.

  • Certificate of the specialised qualification, where applicable to the post applied for

Eligibility, Selection Procedure and Detailed Criteria

The newspaper advertisement carries the vacancy position, fee and dates. For the full picture — detailed pay and allowances, eligibility conditions, the procedure for filling the online application form, the recruitment procedure and the tests involved — candidates are advised to read the detailed advertisement hosted on the ITBP recruitment website.

ITBP specifically advises candidates to fill their profile and apply through the online application form strictly as per the eligibility criteria and instructions given, to avoid disqualification at a later stage. In a combined CAPF medical selection of this size, disqualification usually happens at document scrutiny rather than at the test — a mismatch between the registration certificate, the degree certificate and the details entered in the profile is enough.
