RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has invited online applications from experienced IT professionals for three senior posts: Deputy General Manager (Joint Program Manager), Senior Manager (Cyber Security Expert) and Manager (API Developer), all on a regular basis.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication or Electronics & Instrumentation, OR a Post Graduate degree in the equivalent electronics/computer discipline. Preferred certifications include PgMP/PMP/SAFe Agilist/PROSCI for the DGM post, CISSP/CISM/CISA/CEH/ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or CCSP for the Senior Manager post, and Spring Professional or API Design/Microservices certification for the Manager post.
Job Responsibilities
- DGM (Joint Program Manager): Leading enterprise application development, system integration, cloud deployment, cybersecurity compliance and data governance, using Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project management approaches.
- Senior Manager (Cyber Security Expert): Designing enterprise cybersecurity solutions, conducting risk assessments and VAPT, implementing IAM, MFA and network security controls, monitoring incidents through SIEM tools and ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CERT-In and DPDP guidelines.
- Manager (API Developer): Developing and maintaining REST APIs and microservices, integrating with internal and third-party applications, and ensuring API security, performance and documentation.
Age Relaxation
SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC-NCL 3 years, PwBD 10 years, RITES employees 5 years, and J&K domicile candidates 5 years, over and above the age limits listed in the table above.
Selection Process
For the DGM post, selection is through Document Scrutiny followed by an Interview, with the interview carrying 100% weightage (65% technical and professional proficiency, 35% personality and communication). For the Senior Manager and Manager posts, selection includes a Written Test of 125 objective questions in 2.5 hours with no negative marking (qualifying marks 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for reserved categories), followed by Document Scrutiny and an Interview in the ratio of 1:6 to vacancies, with 60% weightage to the written test and 40% to the interview.
