Oil India Limited (OIL) Recruitment 2026 for Data Assistant (Medical) & Warden (Female) – Walk-In 12 August

Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna public sector undertaking and India’s second largest national upstream oil and gas company, is engaging personnel purely on a contractual basis at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam. Two separate advertisements cover a Contractual Data Assistant (Medical) post and two Contractual Warden (Female) posts for the School of Nursing, and both will be filled through the same walk-in personal assessment on 12 August 2026. Only candidates domiciled in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are eligible.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility

1. Contractual Data Assistant (Medical) – 1 Post

• Graduate in any discipline from a government recognised institute or university
• Diploma or certificate in computer applications of at least 6 months, with working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification relevant work experience in a government, semi-government, PSU, public limited or private organisation
• Age: minimum 18 years, maximum 40 years (General)

The role involves Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Mitra (PMAM) patient registration and preauthorisation work, daily I-RAD portal reporting of RTA cases, registration of hospital births and deaths on the Government of Assam portal, and other duties assigned by the reporting officer.

2. Contractual Warden (Female), School of Nursing – 2 Posts

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline plus minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as a warden in a hostel, OR
• Diploma in Housekeeping/Catering plus minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as a warden in a hostel
• Age: minimum 28 years; maximum 50 years (General), 53 years (OBC-NCL)

Reservation for the Warden post is 1 Unreserved and 1 OBC (NCL); the Data Assistant post is Unreserved.

Salary and Emoluments

Selected candidates will also get statutory EPF and Gratuity benefits, and 6 days of paid leave per 6-month engagement block.

Selection Process

There is no written exam. Candidates are assessed in a Walk-in Personal Assessment carrying 100 marks, covering professional knowledge in the concerned and allied discipline, and personal attributes. The qualifying mark is 50 out of 100 for all categories, and final selection is purely on merit.

Documents to Carry for Registration

• Filled Personal Bio-Data form (format available in the official advertisement)
• One recent 3cm x 3cm coloured passport photograph
• Valid photo ID and address proof
• Class 10 certificate as date of birth proof, plus all mark sheets and pass certificates for the qualifying degree
• Caste, EWS, disability or ex-servicemen certificates where applicable
• No Objection Certificate if currently employed in government service or a PSU
• Aadhaar card, PAN card and bank passbook

All documents must be brought in original plus one self-attested photocopy. Candidates cannot register after 9:00 AM on the walk-in date under any circumstances, and there is no travelling or daily allowance for appearing in the assessment.
