Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD), under Digital India Corporation (DIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has invited online applications for 8 Young Professional positions to support the BHASHINI mission, India’s National Language Translation Mission.

Positions and Eligibility

1. AI Engineer (1 post)

B.S./B.E./B.Tech/M.S./M.E./M.Tech/MCA in a technology subject (preference for Computer Science, AI, IT, or related fields), with minimum 1 year of professional experience in core algorithms, NLP, CV, ASR, OCR, and generative models.

2. ML Engineer (1 post)

Same educational qualification as above, with minimum 1 year of professional experience developing and optimising ML/DL models.

3. API Developer (1 post)

Same educational qualification as above, with minimum 1 year of experience wrapping AI models into usable APIs, SDKs and enterprise integrations (Apigee, Kong, etc.).

4. Full Stack Developer, Open Source (1 post)

Same educational qualification as above, with minimum 1 year of experience in open-source technologies and full-stack development frameworks.

5. Cyber Security (1 post)

Same educational qualification as above, with minimum 1 year of experience in cybersecurity, including data, application, cloud and AI security, threat detection and ISO information security standards.

6. Legal (1 post)

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university, LLM or relevant legal certification preferred, with minimum 1 year of experience in legal advisory, contract management, legal research and regulatory compliance. Knowledge of the DPDP Act is an advantage.

7. Support/Onboarding (1 post)

Any graduate, preferably with an MBA in Marketing or equivalent, with minimum 1 year of experience in customer/client onboarding. Preference for candidates with expertise in customer engagement and portfolio management.

8. Admin (1 post)

Any graduate, preferably with an MBA or equivalent, with minimum 1 year of experience in administrative and procurement work. Experience with the government sector, including GeM procurement, is an advantage.

Formal qualifications and experience may be relaxed for exceptional candidates. Internship or training experience will not be considered towards the required experience. The number of positions may vary or be interchanged at any stage of hiring.

Tenure and Terms

The engagement will be purely contractual for 1 year from the date of joining, or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier, and may be extended based on project requirements and performance. Terms of engagement follow NITI Aayog guidelines No. A-12036/2/2023-Adm.IB dated 7 July 2023.
