Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc./M.Tech degree in Physics
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in JEE/NEET preparation from a reputed coaching institute
- Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. or alumni of prestigious institutions like IITs/NITs
Before the interview, eligible candidates have to appear in a written test. No TA/DA (travel or dearness allowance) will be paid to any candidate.
Salary and Terms
- Salary is negotiable depending on the candidate’s academic record and teaching experience, ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹70,000 per month as a fixed monthly amount
- An incentive may be given after 2 years of outstanding performance
- A bachelor faculty member will be provided free accommodation on the Sankalp campus
- The contract depends on the quality of performance; if found unsatisfactory, it can be terminated with one month’s prior notice
- Before resigning, the faculty member must give one month’s prior notice, or submit their last month’s salary in lieu of notice
The institute is run by the District Administration under the guidance of the District Magistrate of Jashpur. Jashpur is located in the north-east of Chhattisgarh, bordering Jharkhand and Odisha; the nearest railway station and airport are Ranchi and Jharsuguda, both about 150 km away.
