IIT Delhi’s Industrial Research & Development Unit (IRD) has invited candidates for a walk-in test and interview for 1 Principal Project Scientist position at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, under a project involving customised implant design and finite element analysis (FEA) simulation.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a strong understanding of customised implant design and FEA simulation. Qualification:
- PhD or M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering with 2 years of experience, OR
- Any other equivalent Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience

This is a walk-in recruitment; there is no online application. Eligible candidates should appear directly for the interview at 9:30 AM on 18 August 2026 at Room No. 603, Academic Complex East (99C), IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi – 110016. Bring your filled application on Form No. IRD/REC-4, which can be downloaded from the IIT Delhi IRD website, along with complete details of your educational qualifications (with percentage of marks for each exam passed), work experience, and a recent passport-size photograph, plus original certificates for verification on the day of the interview. Candidates already employed at the Institute or IRD will not be interviewed unless their application has been duly forwarded by their establishment. A 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates. Retired or superannuated government employees selected for the post will have their salary fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.
