BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, has invited walk-in applications for 6 project positions including Assistant Data Manager, Statistical Programmer, Project Research Scientist and Project Technical Support roles, spread across five ongoing research projects.

Eligibility Criteria by Post
Assistant Data Manager (both posts)
Post Graduate degree in Computer Application/Computer Science/Data Science from a recognised university, OR Graduate degree in Computer Science/Computer Application with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in clinical data management. Essential experience in clinical data management, database administration and software validation is required; working knowledge of R/Python/STATA is desirable.
Project Technical Support-II
Standard 12th in Science plus DMLT/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of post-qualification experience in a research lab, OR a graduation degree with 2 years of post-qualification experience in a research lab. Experience in autoclaving, buffer preparation and lab management required.
Project Technical Support-III
Three-year graduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences with 3 years of research laboratory experience, OR a Post Graduation in Life Sciences. Experience in molecular biology, microbiology and biochemistry techniques required.
Statistical Programmer
Post Graduation in Statistics/Mathematics & Computing/Information Technology/Bioinformatics/Biostatistics or a related discipline, with 2 years of relevant experience in a research laboratory or reputed company. Sound knowledge of R/Python for statistical and machine-learning analysis is required.
Project Research Scientist-II
PhD in Life Sciences in the area of tuberculosis with at least one research article in a peer-reviewed PubMed-indexed journal. Candidates must have documented experience of working in a BSL-3 facility, mycobacterial handling, animal infection models for TB, and related molecular biology and biochemical assay techniques.
Age Relaxation
5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and for PwBD candidates 10 years (UR), 13 years (OBC) or 15 years (SC/ST). Central Government servants get up to 5 years relaxation, institute employees get relaxation to the extent of service rendered, and Ex-servicemen get relaxation to the extent of defence service rendered plus 3 years.
