Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Essential: A Postgraduate or Graduate degree in any one of the following — Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Applications, Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing & GIS, Soil Science, Agricultural Physics, Data Science & Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Geology, or Geography.
Desirable: One year of working experience in Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics and Remote Sensing, plus working knowledge of spatial database handling, management and analysis in GIS.
Age Limit
21 to 45 years, with standard relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.
Terms of Engagement
- This is a purely temporary, project-linked position co-terminus with the NASF project — selected candidates cannot claim regular appointment at NBSS&LUP or ICAR on this basis.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
- Good health is required of the selected candidate.
- The decision of the Director, ICAR-NBSS&LUP, Nagpur is final and binding in all respects.
Walk-in Interview: What to Bring
- A filled application on plain paper with a passport-size photograph affixed.
- Attested copies of all mark-sheets and certificates.
- Original certificates for verification at the time of interview — mandatory.
- A CV listing your name, father’s/husband’s name, date of birth, category (SC/ST/OBC if applicable), academic qualifications, research experience, publications (if any), and address/contact details for correspondence.
- Report to the RSA Division, ICAR-NBSS&LUP, Amravati Road, Nagpur – 440033, well before 11:00 AM on 18 August 2026.
