CFSL Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 06 Manager, Assistant Manager and Executive Posts
Centbank Financial Services Limited (CFSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Bank of India, has invited online applications under Advertisement No. CENTFIN: 2026-27:1 for six posts on contract basis, all located in Mumbai. The portal opened on 31 July 2026 and closes on 16 August 2026.
Four of the six roles carry a dual designation. You are not applying for Assistant Manager or Manager as separate vacancies. Each functional area has one seat, and which of the two grades you land depends on the experience you bring. Freshers are eligible at the Assistant Manager level in every one of the four, which is unusual for a financial services subsidiary and worth understanding before you assume this is a senior-only drive.

Three Errors in the Advertisement You Should Know About
This is worth putting near the top rather than burying it. The PDF contains three inconsistencies, and two of them could cost a candidate the application.
1. A stale last date buried in Section E
The header table and the covering details give the last date as 16 August 2026. However, point 3 under How to Apply states that an application is complete only when submitted on or before the last date, and then prints 05.04.2026 in brackets. That date is in the past and does not belong to this cycle. It appears to be carried over from an earlier advertisement. Work to 16 August 2026, and do not treat the bracketed date as a live deadline.
2. Two different financial years for the EWS certificate
Note 9 under the vacancy table asks EWS candidates for an Income and Asset Certificate for FY 2024-25. Section F, under Reservation and Categories, asks for the same certificate for FY 2025-26. These cannot both be right. If you are applying under EWS, the safe course is to arrange the more recent certificate and write to hrd@cfsl.in for written confirmation before the closing date rather than guessing.
3. Reservation clauses attached to an all-UR vacancy table
Every one of the six seats is shown under UR / GEN. There are no SC, ST, OBC or EWS vacancies in this advertisement. Yet the notification carries a full age relaxation schedule and detailed reservation provisions.
Read Note 1 carefully, because it resolves the tension. Reserved category candidates may apply against UR vacancies provided they meet the eligibility criteria applicable to the General category. On a plain reading, that means the 35-year and 30-year ceilings apply to everyone in this cycle and the relaxation table has little practical effect here. That is an interpretation, not a certainty, so if you are relying on age relaxation to qualify, confirm it with CFSL in writing before you apply.
Post-Wise Vacancy Details
| Sr. | Functional Area | Post | Vacancies | Max. Age (as on 30.06.2026) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Accounts | Assistant Manager or Manager | 01 | 35 years |
| 2 | Business Development | Assistant Manager or Manager | 01 | 35 years |
| 3 | IT | Assistant Manager or Manager | 01 | 35 years |
| 4 | Secretarial & Compliance | Assistant Manager or Manager | 01 | 35 years |
| 5 | Other Operations | Executive Operations | 02 | 30 years |
| Total | 06 | |||
All six are at Mumbai and all six use the same selection route of shortlisting followed by interview. The vacancy count is provisional and may change according to the company’s actual requirement.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Two rules run across every post. The institution must be recognised or approved by Government bodies, AICTE or UGC, and correspondence and part-time courses are not eligible. Qualifications and experience are reckoned as on 30 June 2026, and experience must be post-qualification and relevant to the specific functional area.
Post 1 – Accounts
Qualification: MBA (Finance), CA, or CA (Intern), as printed in the advertisement. Note that “CA (Intern)” is ambiguous on its face, since it could mean CA Intermediate or a CA articleship. If you fall in that bracket, get clarity from CFSL before applying.
Assistant Manager: freshers may apply, with preference for those holding a relevant internship or work experience.
Manager: minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Accounts and must be currently employed. Employees of Central Bank of India subsidiaries qualify with 2 years of Accounts experience.
Post 2 – Business Development
Qualification: MBA or BBA in Marketing, Finance, or Banking and Financial Services, from an AICTE or UGC approved institution.
Assistant Manager: freshers may apply.
Manager: minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Business Development, Client Acquisition or Relationship Management within Financial Services, and must be currently employed. Central Bank of India subsidiary employees qualify with 2 years.
Post 3 – IT
Qualification: B.E., B.Tech, BCS, B.Sc., or BCA in Computer Science or IT, or MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT, from an AICTE approved institution.
Desirable certifications: AWS, Azure or GCP Solutions Architect; CISSP or CISM; CISO; Oracle DBA or MS SQL Server; PMP or ITIL.
Assistant Manager: freshers may apply.
Manager: minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in IT infrastructure, software or application management, or cybersecurity, and must be currently employed. The Manager grade additionally expects:
- IT systems management experience with a Trustee Company or a BFSI organisation
- Hands-on software development in Java, Python, .NET, ASP.NET, PHP, Crystal Reports or JavaScript
- Proficiency in at least two cloud platforms among AWS, Azure and GCP
- Database Administrator experience in Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL
- IT security knowledge covering ISO 27001, NIST and OWASP, including vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
- Vendor management covering SLAs and software licensing
- Working knowledge of the RBI IT Framework Guidelines, CERT-In directives and Government cybersecurity policies
That is a broad stack for a single seat. If you are a specialist in one area rather than a generalist across all of them, the Assistant Manager route is the realistic target.
Post 4 – Secretarial & Compliance
Essential: Associate Member of ICSI (ACS) with valid membership. Preferred: Fellow Member of ICSI (FCS) and LLB.
Assistant Manager: freshers may apply.
Manager: minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Company Secretary or in a Secretarial and Compliance role with a Trustee Company, NBFC, Bank or listed entity, and must be currently employed.
The specific knowledge expected includes the Companies Act 2013, SEBI (Debenture Trustees) Regulations 1993, SEBI (LODR) Regulations 2015, the Trust Act 1882 and the Registration Act 1908, along with handling Board meetings, AGM and EGM, statutory registers, and proficiency on the MCA21 portal and SEBI intermediary portals.
Post 5 – Executive (Operations), Trusteeship Services
Qualification: any graduate from a recognised university or institution approved by Government bodies, AICTE or UGC. Full-time course only.
Experience: freshers may apply. A minimum of one year of working experience in any company or institution is preferable.
This is the widest gate in the advertisement. Two seats, any graduate discipline, freshers accepted, and no professional qualification required. Expect the heaviest competition here.
Remuneration
| Post | Indicative CTC per annum |
|---|---|
| Assistant Manager (Accounts, Business Development, IT, Company Secretary) | Up to ₹4.20 lakh |
| Manager (Accounts, Business Development, IT, Company Secretary) | ₹6.00 lakh to ₹10.20 lakh |
| Executive Operations | ₹3.00 lakh to ₹3.60 lakh |
There is an important qualifier attached to every one of these figures. The final offer depends on the candidate’s experience and current emoluments, subject to the stated maximum. In plain terms, your existing salary is an input into what CFSL offers you, so two candidates selected for the same grade will not necessarily be paid the same. Salary and benefits are determined by Management after the selection process concludes, and the appointment is purely contractual.
Selection Process
Stage 1, Shortlisting. A Shortlisting Committee constituted by the company decides the shortlisting parameters. Meeting the minimum qualification and experience does not create any right to be called for interview, and no correspondence is entertained on the point.
Stage 2, Interview. The interview carries 100 marks. Qualifying marks are decided by the company. No expenses of any kind are reimbursed for attending.
Final selection rests on interview performance together with an overall assessment of experience, suitability and current emoluments.
The Clause Most Applicants Will Overlook
The post you name in the application form is treated only as a preference. It confers no right to appointment to that post. Based on scrutiny of applications, eligibility, experience, interview performance and organisational requirement, CFSL expressly reserves the right to offer appointment to any suitable post or designation for which it finds you eligible, irrespective of what you applied for.
Read that before you apply. If you would decline an Executive Operations offer after applying for Manager IT, it is better to know that possibility exists now than at the offer stage.
What CFSL Actually Does
Understanding the business helps at interview, and this is not a company most candidates will have researched. CFSL has been in Trusteeship Services since May 1929, and operates across five verticals: Debenture and Bond Trusteeship, Executor and Will Trusteeship, Security Trusteeship, Escrow Software Trusteeship, and Safe Custody of Documents.
That shapes every role advertised here. The Accounts post involves fiduciary accounting for trusts and estates alongside conventional statutory audit and CAG audit work. The IT post maintains the Escrow Software Trustee platform and the Safe Keeping of Documents portal. The Secretarial post handles Trust Deeds and Will deeds under the Trust Act 1882 and Registration Act 1908, not just Companies Act filings. Candidates who can speak to trusteeship specifically will interview better than those treating this as a generic NBFC role.
How to Apply
- Visit cfsl.in or go directly to the careers portal at careers.cfsl.in and submit the application online. No other mode is accepted.
- Use a valid and active email ID and keep it active until results are declared. Call letters and interview intimations are sent by email only, and no hard copy is issued.
- Upload self-attested copies of your resume, identity proof, age proof, educational qualification certificates, experience certificates or appointment letter with the latest salary slip, and caste or EWS certificate where applicable.
- Submit on or before 16 August 2026.
- Keep originals ready for verification at the interview.
On fees, the advertisement says only that application fee details, if any, will be notified on the company website, and that fees once paid are not refunded. Check cfsl.in before assuming the application is free.
Documents Required at the Interview
- Resume, valid photo identity proof, and age proof such as a birth certificate or Class 10 mark sheet
- All educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
- Experience certificates from your current and all previous employers
- If you cannot obtain an experience certificate from your present employer, the appointment or offer letter and the latest salary slip may be submitted instead. The experience certificate must then be produced at the time of joining.
- Caste, EWS or PwBD certificates in the prescribed Government format, where applicable
- No Objection Certificate from your current employer if you are working in Government, a Public Sector Undertaking or a Bank
Candidates must disclose any disciplinary action by a previous employer and any pending or concluded criminal proceedings. Suppression or false information leads to disqualification, or to termination if already appointed. Canvassing in any form is a disqualification, and disputes fall under the sole jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai.
