NABFINS Customer Service Officer Recruitment 2026 – Apply for CSO Posts
NABFINS wants Customer Service Officers, and the entry bar is unusually low. PUC or 10+2 gets you in the door. Freshers are eligible. There is no degree requirement and no exam.
Then comes the condition that stops most people. You need a driving licence and your own motorcycle. Not preferred, not desirable. The job is built around riding out to customers and collecting money, and NABFINS treats the bike as part of the kit.
Applications close on 5 August 2026. The job code is Nabfins/OPS/1121.
What a CSO actually does all day
The stated purpose of the role is sourcing customers and growing a sustainable portfolio for the branch. In practice that splits into two halves.
The first half is bringing business in. Identifying new business locations, sourcing clients, running primary verification of their credentials, conducting Compulsory Group Training, entering data into CRIF and CMS, accompanying the Branch Manager to the Group Recognition Test, working alongside the Customer Service Executive before disbursement, and making sure disbursement happens.
The second half is getting the money back. Generating demand, following up for recovery, undertaking collection, remitting what you collect to the bank, reporting demand and collection figures to the Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager, and filing the documents.
Anyone weighing this up should sit with that second list. Roughly half the job is field collection in microfinance, on scheduled dates, from customers you personally signed up. It is not a branch desk.
Who qualifies
PUC or 10+2 completed is the minimum education. NABFINS says freshers may apply, while stating a preference for candidates with one to three years in a similar profile who have genuine exposure to field operations among the target population.
Language matters more here than qualifications do. You need written, spoken and reading command of the local language of the state you are applying to, and of English.
And the vehicle. Driving licence plus motorcycle, both compulsory.
Where the openings are
NABARD Financial Services Limited has listed vacancies across 21 states and union territories:
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
There is no published vacancy count, state-wise or overall. NABFINS fills CSO positions against branch requirements as they come up, which is why the notification lists territory rather than numbers. Name your preferred state clearly when you apply.
Applying
Two routes are open. Submit the online form linked from the job posting, or email your resume to the recruitment address on the NABFINS careers page.
- Read the job profile for code 1121 and confirm you meet the licence and language conditions.
- Update your resume with education, any work experience, and the state you want.
- Submit through the online application form, or email it with a subject line that names the post and state.
- Do it before 5 August rather than on the day.
Check your mobile number and email carefully before submitting. For a role with no exam and no published shortlist, a phone call is how you find out you got it.

One thing to be clear about
NABFINS is a subsidiary of NABARD, not a government department, and this is not a central government post. Read the job profile page and whatever offer letter follows for the actual terms of engagement before you accept anything.

If the 12th-pass bar is what brought you here, the Aadhaar Supervisor recruitment has 348 district-level posts across eleven states and closes on 20 August, though it needs a UIDAI certificate you must already hold. Women candidates in Uttar Pradesh should look at the Hapur Anganwadi recruitment, 317 posts with no exam at all.
Questions candidates are asking

No. The licence and the motorcycle are both listed as must-haves.
I am a fresher. Is it worth applying?
Yes. Freshers are eligible. You will be competing with people who have one to three years in similar field roles, so make your local language ability and your willingness to do field collection obvious in the resume.

Is a graduation degree needed?
No. PUC or 10+2 is the stated minimum.
Is there a written test?
None is mentioned. Applications go in by form or email and shortlisted candidates are contacted directly.
Which language do I need?
The local language of the state you apply to, plus English, in reading, writing and speech.
