Hapur and Garhmukteshwar projects together account for the bulk of both categories. Helper posts outnumber Worker posts by roughly three to two, and the Helper category carries a noticeably larger SC share.
The gram sabha-wise breakdown, with full eligibility and reservation details, has been posted on the notice boards of the Hapur Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, tehsil offices, the District Programme Office (Child Development), the block-level Child Development Project offices and the Block Development Officer’s offices, and uploaded to the department website. Check that list before applying — your eligibility is tied to a specific gram sabha, not to the district as a whole.
Eligibility Criteria
Gender
Only women candidates are eligible.
Educational Qualification
For Anganwadi Worker posts, the notice sets both a floor and a ceiling: minimum Intermediate or equivalent, and maximum Post Graduate. Candidates holding a qualification above postgraduate level fall outside the stated band.
The notice does not separately state the Helper qualification. Helper applicants should read the detailed prapatra and the government order on the department website before applying.
Residence
The applicant must be a permanent resident of the gram sabha where the post is vacant. Only if no eligible candidate of the relevant category is available in that gram sabha does eligibility extend to permanent residents of the concerned Nyay Panchayat.
Age
Minimum 18 years and not more than 35 years, on the cut-off date of 1 July 2026.
