Kerala Cashew Board Manager Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

Kerala Cashew Board has one Manager’s job open and a very short window to fill it. The notification went up on 29 July 2026 and the portal shuts at 5:00 pm on 4 August. That is six days, start to finish.

The post is Manager (Procurement & Marketing), on contract, at a consolidated ₹45,000 a month. Notification number KCB/82/2018/M(P&M).

The job and the contract

Kerala Cashew Board Limited is a Government of Kerala initiative, and this role sits across buying and selling: procurement of raw material on one side, marketing on the other.

The contract runs 11 months and the notification says it is likely to be renewed based on performance. Take that at face value. It is an 11-month commitment with a renewal that has been signalled but not promised.

What they are looking for

An MBA in Marketing, or an MBA in Agri Business Management, or an equivalent postgraduate degree from a reputed and recognised university. If yours is the “equivalent” kind rather than one of the two named, you need an equivalency certificate from the competent authority. Applications without it will not be considered at all.

On top of the degree, three years of post-qualification experience in marketing. At least one year of that in procurement is desirable rather than compulsory. Only experience gained after you passed the qualifying degree counts, so a job held during your MBA does not add to the total.

Two things earn you preference. Having worked in a government department or PSU, particularly in the procurement of agricultural commodities. And hands-on experience with e-tendering.

The Malayalam requirement

The notification lists excellent communication in both English and Malayalam as a must for the post, in the same breath as IT proficiency in MS Office, social media management and AI tools. It is not a preference and it is not a tiebreaker. Candidates from outside Kerala should read that line before spending time on the form.

Age and nationality

Below 35 years as on 1 July 2026. Indian citizens only.

How you will be picked

Applications are scrutinised first, and a list of candidates eligible for further selection is drawn up. From there it is an interview.

The Board and CMD have kept their options open, though. The notification reserves the right to add stages, and names application screening, criteria-based screening, a written test, group discussion, a skill or proficiency test, or any combination as possibilities. Shortlisting may be cut to a small number based on how relevant your experience is, the quality of your academic record, and overall suitability.

Nothing is confirmed until the end. Admittance to any stage is provisional, detailed scrutiny of credentials happens before the interview, and a discrepancy found at that point ends the candidature.

Getting the application right

This is where applications for this post tend to die. Upload an updated CV, a passport photograph taken within the last six months, your signature, and certificates proving qualification and experience.

Item Format Size
Photograph JPEG Under 200 KB
Signature JPEG Under 50 KB
CV and certificates JPEG or PDF Max 3 MB each

Now the part that catches experienced applicants. Appointment letters, salary certificates and pay slips are not accepted as proof of work experience. You need a work experience certificate. If you are currently employed and cannot get one from your present employer, upload an affidavit instead, setting out the employer, your designation, the period, the nature of the job, and your tasks and responsibilities.

Incomplete applications are rejected. So are applications carrying wrong or unnecessary documents, and any with a blurred or illegible photograph or signature.

Applying

Everything goes through the Centre for Management Development in Thiruvananthapuram, at cmd.kerala.gov.in. Fill the prescribed form, upload your documents, submit before 5:00 pm on 4 August 2026, and save the confirmation and any reference number.

Nothing else works. The Board will not accept an application at the KCB or CMD office, whether it arrives offline or online outside the portal.

Keep your email and mobile live until the process ends. Only shortlisted candidates hear anything, and intimation comes by email, SMS or phone. Check your spam folder. If the form gives you trouble, the help desk is on 0471 2320101, extensions 237 and 250, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday.

The notification PDF is here. KCB has reserved the right to modify or cancel it, revise the number of posts, or stop the recruitment entirely without giving a reason.

If this one does not fit

Management graduates aiming at the power sector should look at SJVN’s 21 executive posts, open from 5 August. For a marketing role inside a defence PSU, AVNL’s recruitment includes Deputy Manager (Marketing) among its 208 executive vacancies.

Questions candidates are asking

I have an MBA in HR with marketing experience. Am I eligible?

The notification names MBA (Marketing) and MBA (Agri Business Management), or an equivalent postgraduate degree backed by an equivalency certificate. An HR specialisation is a judgement call for the scrutiny stage, and without the certificate it is a weak one.

Is one year of procurement experience compulsory?

No. Three years in marketing is the requirement. The procurement year is listed as desirable.

Can I apply from outside Kerala?

Nothing bars it, but Malayalam fluency is stated as a must for the post, so weigh that honestly.

My employer will not issue an experience certificate. What now?

Upload an affidavit covering employer, designation, period, nature of job and responsibilities. Pay slips and appointment letters will not do.

Will the contract become permanent?

It is an 11-month contract that may be renewed on performance. Nothing in the notification points to a permanent post.

Is there an application fee?

The notification does not mention one.
