Application Fee
₹250 per application, paid online through the Bharatkosh portal. The payment link appears once you submit the online application, and you can pay by internet banking, credit card, debit card or UPI.
All women candidates, plus Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Benchmark Disability candidates, are exempted from the fee. Even exempted candidates must register online and confirm they receive the system-generated email acknowledging successful submission.
Pay and Allowances
Selected candidates are appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100 per month. On top of that come Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance as per extant rules.
Other benefits include coverage under the New Pension Scheme, medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidised canteen, limited quarters facility in lieu of HRA, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance and House Building Advance.
